Guys, use the following list as a guide. However, this list isn't gospel. It's only meant as a set of guidelines to keep you from meeting someone that might be terribly wrong for you. 1. The Smart-Ass

There’s nothing more attractive than a woman who has a brain and isn’t scared to use it. She’s opinionated, charismatic and was probably on the debate team in high school.

Make no mistake; a woman who has the confidence to speak her mind is sexy. The problem happens when she starts viciously arguing with you for the sake of it. The Smart-Ass will find contention with every word you say and intellectually cut you down, spit you up and throw you away.

Some women do it to see how well you can stand up for yourself. Others do it because it makes them feel superior. Regardless, if you find yourself debating about silly, inane things, it’s time to hightail out of there.

2. The Gold Digger

It’s nearly uncontested that if you want to get the girl, you will need to wine and dine her. Social convention states that the man will probably need to pay for the flowers, the dinner dates and the movie tickets.

A keeper falls in love with you. A Gold Digger falls in love with your wallet.

You can identify a Gold Digger by her steadily increasing expectation of you paying for more of her stuff. So if you started your relationship paying for dates and now find yourself giving her a weekly allowance, it’s time to take caution.

3. Ms Right

A woman may have a bevy of outstanding qualities, but if she’s as stubborn as a mule, you may be dealing with a Ms Right.

Ms Right will never compromise and never listen to what you say. It’s her way or no way at all.

In the beginning, it may be quite a turn on that she knows what she wants and will stop at nothing to get it. But you can be sure that her stubbornness will wear down the relationship.

A relationship is about compromise, and Ms Right doesn’t compromise.

4. The Psycho

The Psycho is the girl that calls you 10 times a day when she’s meeting you that night. The Psycho is the girl that leaves you 20 missed calls when you’ve only been away from your phone for 10 minutes. The Psycho will become the center of your life and work, alone time and time with the boys all bow down to her every whim.

It needs no explanation why the Psycho is not worth pursuing. Just deliver the news to her gently. After all, you don’t want her turning into a Psycho Ex.

5. The Rebound

We’ve all seen it one-way or another – a girl fits your ideal; you're madly in love with her and she’s clearly into you. But she just got out of a relationship so she’s not ready.

You can identify a Rebound by how by persistent her friends are to set you guys up, and how reluctant she is to do it. She’s obviously not over her previous flame.

This is a truly sad scenario of the right place at the wrong time. When you meet this ideal girl, you want to be ‘the one’, not just a temporary comfort. So the best advice anyone will tell you is to walk away.
